Teachers - Kindergarten

Hey tout le monde!

Welcome to another awesome school year ahead of us!

A bit about me:  Born and raised in the Peace Country, specifically Donnelly area, I am proud to consider myself a Franco-Albertan.  I have been teaching full-time since 1993!!  Amidst those teaching years, I did take 2 years off for maternity leaves.  I have a daughter born in 2001, and in 2003, my twin daughters were born.  I have taught in Slave Lake, Whitecourt and have been in Grande Prairie since 2006.  Although most of my teaching experience has been at the Kindergarten level, I have had the privilege to have taught a few years at the grades 5-7 level, many years in Grade One (English) and music at the grades K-2 level.  I have even had my toes dipped into Administrative positions ranging from a Primary Elementary Leadership role in my fourth year of teaching to taking on a Vice-Principal position in 2007-8, after which I discovered my true joy is being IN the classroom with the students!  I enjoy playing a variety of sports (on a few recreational teams), piano and I love being a mom to very busy daughters!  Finally, I can count my blessings thanks to the one and only - GOD.  He is so good!  It's really up to each one of us to be grateful in order to find true happiness....   Hope you have a fantastic year!  Be sure to say hi in the halls - make smiling contagious!
